Real Estate Market Update: STOP & GO... STOP & GO
That’s not just the market - it’s the energy everyone seems to be feeling right now.
There’s more inventory, which technically gives buyers more choice - but that doesn’t mean people are moving forward. Confidence is shaky, and between interest rates, mixed signals in the market, and just general life stuff, many are pausing, questioning, waiting.
It’s a bit of a dance:
→ Some listings are selling quickly; when they’re priced properly, prepared beautifully, and well located.
→ Others are playing the old game of listing low and holding offers - but that strategy is falling flat. Most are ending up relisted at higher prices, and it’s leaving buyers confused and cautious. Buyers do not want to play this game.
We’re calling it like it is: there’s a lot of stop-and-go - in the market and in people’s overall confidence. And that’s okay. This is a big decision, and it’s normal to want to feel aligned before making a move.
