Builder Spotlight – New Horizon
Some stories really do come full circle, and this is one of them.
Over ten years ago, I worked at a small agency that helped local home builders. One of our clients was New Horizon. Right from the start, they stood out. It was not just about the homes they were building, but how they made you feel like family. Jeff Paikin, their leader, helped shape New Horizon into a builder that truly cares about how and why we build homes.
I also have a special memory of his daughter, Natasha, who came to work with us as an intern. We became friends right away. Moments like that stay with you and remind you that behind every great company is a family, a story, and a big heart.
New Horizon has always believed in more than just building houses. They believe in building responsibly. They focus on buying and hiring locally and creating neighbourhoods that are good for the environment and the people who live there.
I recently visited their Interlude Townhomes in Waterdown and was so impressed. The homes have modern designs, big patios, and upgraded kitchens. They are part of a small, peaceful community just minutes from downtown Waterdown.
And they are not finished yet. New Horizon has new projects coming to Aldershot too, helping our neighbourhood grow in thoughtful and caring ways.
Builders like New Horizon show us that when we build with heart and care, we build stronger communities.
