The annual Telling Tales Festival returns October 4–5 at Royal Botanical Gardens, Hendrie Park. This free, family-friendly event features internationally acclaimed authors, illustrators, and performers, with headliners Tanya Tagaq (Saturday) and Matthew Forsythe (Sunday). Free shuttle service runs from downtown Hamilton.
