The 2025 Aldershot Village Tree Lighting

On Saturday, November 22, 2025, join neighbours, families, + friends for the Aldershot Village Tree Lighting Celebration, a beloved community tradition hosted by the Aldershot Village BIA.
From 3:30 to 6:30 PM, Plains Road will come alive with festive music, kids’ activities, local vendors, and the joyful energy that makes this neighbourhood such a special place to call home.
The Tree Lighting Ceremony is at 6:00 PM, when the lights twinkle to life and officially mark the start of the holiday season in Burlington’s Aldershot Village.
Expect an evening filled with family-friendly fun - from Santa and friends to face painting, balloon twisting, an outdoor vendor market, and plenty of hot chocolate + treats. The Aldershot Lions Club will be serving up hot dogs, and guests are encouraged to support the Cram-a-Cruiser Food Drive, helping local families in need this season.
“The Village Tree Lighting is one of our favourite community events of the year,” says Andrea Dodd, Executive Director of the Aldershot Village BIA. “It’s a time for neighbours to come together, celebrate our local businesses, and share the magic of the holiday season.”
